This program gives you money each month called a pension if you're a veteran with limited income and served during a war. The amount of money you get depends on:

  • Your income
  • How many people in your family rely on you
  • The highest amount of pension you qualify for

In addition to the money, you may also get help through the Aid and Attendance or Housebound programs to help you with homecare services such as bathing and feeding.

How do I apply?

You can apply online or print and fill out VA Form 21P-527EZ (Application for Veterans Pension) and send it to the VA Regional Office near you.

If you have questions or need help, call the VA benefits hotline at 800-827-1000 or visit the eBenefits website to learn more.
