VA Pension – Aid and Attendance and Housebound Benefits
This program gives you money on top of your monthly pension to get health care at home if you're a veteran. The Aid and Attendance program is for veterans who have to stay in bed because they are sick, or need help with bathing, dressing and feeding. The Housebound program is for veterans who mostly stay indoors because of a disability that doesn't go away. You cannot get help from both programs at the same time.
How do I apply?
If you need help applying, call the VA hotline at 800-827-1000 or use eBenefits to help you answer your questions.
