This program offers you services to help you live on your own if you are blind or have low vision. Based on your need, the services can take place in a medical care facility or in your home. Services offered include:

  • Personal care and daily life activities like bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Social and recreational activities
  • Help with learning how to read and write in Braille

To find out how to apply for services, contact a Visual Impairment Services Team coordinator at your closest VA Medical Center.
