This program can help you get equipment to use the phone if you are deaf, hard of hearing, have trouble speaking, or are deaf-blind. Your income and the number of people in your house will determine if you have to pay for equipment, which may include:

  • A phone with a screen to read your conversation
  • Phones that let you increase call volume
  • Technology that translates conversations into Braille 
  • Flashing lights or sounds to show incoming calls
