If you have both vision loss and hearing loss, this program can help you obtain special equipment called assistive technology at no cost. The assistive technology offered can help you with daily life activities, such as communicating and reading. The program provides many types of equipment, such as:

  • Portable Braille systems
  • Wide-screen computer monitors
  • Speech-enabled software
  • Mobile devices
  • Telephones

The program will provide a specialist who lives close to your residence to help you select and install equipment that will best meet your needs. You will also receive training and technical support on the equipment you receive.


How do I apply?

To find out how to apply for this program, you should contact your State Partner that works with iCanConnect. Your State Partner will perform an assessment on your personal situation and provide you with an application form to apply.
