Marble Valley Regional Transit District (“The Bus”) Paratransit and Discount Fares

This program can help you get around Rutland County. The Bus provides fixed-route bus services throughout the county. If you cannot use the regular fixed-route bus service, you can get prearranged point-to-point rides.

There is a fare for each ride, and the amount depends on whether you have a qualifying disability and need paratransit services. If you are a qualified Medicaid recipient, you can get free rides to medical appointments. All scheduled rides must be arranged at least 24 hours in advance.

How do I apply?

Most public transportation services are available to the general public without application. If you wish to become ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) Certified to use the paratransit service, call 1-802-747-3502. To call TDD, dial 711.
