Green Mountain Express

1 min read

This program can help you get around Bennington County. Green Mountain Express offers regular bus routes and well as dial-a-ride services. The regular buses will also go up to a quarter mile off their regular route for pick up or drop off. This service costs extra and must be arranged in advance. If you cannot use the regular bus routes, you may be able to get rides for medical appointments and certain other important errands. These are typically shared, curb-to-curb rides. Depending on your situation, including whether you have Medicaid, the pre-arranged rides may be free or there may be a fee.

How do I apply?

You may be able to use most Green Mountain Express services without applying in advance. For most information, visit the program website.
