The Sioux Area Metro (also called SAM) is the public transportation agency for the Sioux Falls metropolitan area. SAM can provide you with free rides on the fixed-route schedule if you are 65 years of age or older. There is also a paratransit service for curb-to-curb ride assistance.
How do I apply?
Applications for the eligibility card for the reduced fare and paratransit program are available at the downtown bus stop or SAM offices. You can also call SAM at 1-605-367-7151.
