Older adults and people who have disabilities can get reduced fares on Charlotte Area Transit System rides. The reduced fares are typically about half of the standard fare.

If you cannot use the fixed-route buses because of a disability, you can use the Special Transportation Service (STS), the paratransit service. The STS provides shared-ride services that are accessible to people who have disabilities.
