MARTA is the public transportation system for the greater Atlanta area. It includes buses, rapid transit, and streetcars. If you are over 65, you have a disability, or you have a Medicare card, you can get a Reduced Fare Breeze Card on all MARTA buses and trains. You have to apply in advance and show certain documents.
If you cannot use the regular transit systems because of a disability, you can apply for the MARTA Mobility program. The Mobility program is a shared ride program with accessible vehicles. It is curb-to-curb and rides must be scheduled in advance. There is a fare for each ride.
