This program can help you get around Miami-Dade County. Public transit in Miami-Dade County includes Metrobus, Metrorail, and Metromover. If you are a Medicare or Social Security recipient, a veteran with a service-related disability, or an adult who is 65 years of age or older, you can get a discount fare card for the Metrobus. If you cannot use regular public transportation because of a disability, you may be able to use the Special Transportation Service (also called STS), a shared-ride, door-to-door service.

How do I apply?

Visit the program website for more information about how to apply. There is a separate process for reduced fares and other special passes and STS.
