LA Metro Reduced Fares for Seniors

This program offers discounted fare cards for seniors and people who have disabilities. If you are 62 years of age or older, you can get a Senior TAP Card. If you have Medicare or proof of a disability, you can get a LACTOA Disabled TAP ID Card. The cards are free. With the card, you can get discounted fares and passes. You do not need to be a Los Angeles resident to use the discount.


How do I apply?

To get a discounted fare card, you can apply online or mail in an application with the required documents and a photograph to the TAP Reduced Fare Office. The photograph must show your full face and be either 1 inch by 1.25 inches or 2 inches by 2 inches in size.
