LA Metro Reduced Fares for Seniors

This program offers discounted fare cards for seniors and people with disabilities. If you are 62 years of age or older you can get a Senior TAP Card. If you have Medicare or proof of a disability, you can get a LACTOA Disabled TAP ID Card. The cards are free. With the card, you can get discounted fares and passes. You don’t need to be an LA resident to use the discount.


How do I apply?

To get a discounted fare card you can apply online or mail in an application along with the required documents and a photograph (full-face, 1 inch by 1.25 inches or 2 by 2 inches) to the TAP reduced Fare Office.
