Utah Disabled Veteran Property Tax Abatement Program
How can this program help me?
This program gives you a tax benefit that can help lower your property tax bill if you are a qualifying veteran with a disability. The amount of the tax break depends on the degree of your disability. The benefit amount is subtracted from the assessed (estimated) value of your home and you pay property tax on the remaining amount. The assessed value is the dollar amount used to decide how much you will have to pay in property taxes.
How do I get help?
Please contact your local tax assessor's office to find out how to apply.
