OK Senior Valuation Freeze: Property Value Limitation Program
How can this program help me?
This program limits how much your home’s property taxes can increase each year if you are a qualifying older adult. The “freeze” locks in the assessed (taxable) value of your home. The assessed value is the dollar amount used to decide how much you will have to pay in property taxes. This may not stop your property tax bill from increasing. Also, the freeze will not apply if the property value increases because of improvements.
How do I get help?
To apply for this program, please print and fill out the application form and mail it to your local office.
