This program lets you delay paying a portion of your taxes if you are a qualifying homeowner. If your property taxes are more than a certain percentage of your income, you may be able to delay paying the portion above that percentage limit. Delaying payment of your taxes is called a deferral. You can delay the payment of your property tax until certain events take place, such as you move or sell your home.
