The Disabled Veteran Homestead Tax Credit Program offers a property tax exemption (tax break) if you are a disabled veteran. This benefit can lower the amount of property tax you pay. Once enrolled in this program, you will not have to pay any property tax. If you take part in this program, you cannot receive the state’s Disabled and Senior Citizens Property Tax Credit and Homestead Credit benefits.
