How can this program help me?

The Homestead Exemption for Disabled Veterans Program gives you a property tax exemption (tax break) of $60,000 plus an additional amount that reduces the amount of state, county, municipal, and school property taxes you pay. The total amount is subtracted from the assessed (estimated) value of your property. The assessed value is the dollar amount used to decide how much you will have to pay in property taxes.

How do I get help?

To find out how to apply, please contact your local tax assistance office.
