How does this program help me?

This program offers you an additional property tax exemption to help lower the amount of property tax you pay. It frees you from paying taxes on some of the assessed (estimated) value of your home. The assessed value is the dollar amount used to decide how much you will have to pay in property taxes.

This tax relief program is offered in addition to the state’s Homestead Exemption and other tax relief programs.

How do I apply?

To apply for this program, print and fill out the application form and mail it to your local tax assessor's office.
