How can this program help me?
This program gives you a credit on your property tax bill if you are a qualifying older adult or person with a disability. The credit may lower your property tax bill. The amount of the credit depends on your income and filing status, up to a certain limit.
Many local communities provide additional exemptions for older adults with limited income. These can be offered in addition the the Circuit Breaker Tax Relief program. Your community will have its own program guidelines.
