How can this program help me?

This program gives you a property tax exemption (tax break) if you are age 65 or older or a qualifying veteran. A tax exemption can help you reduce the amount of taxes you pay on your home. This exemption may lower the assessed (taxable) value of your home. The assessed value is the dollar amount used to decide how much you will have to pay in taxes.


How do I apply?

To apply for this program, print and fill out the application form and return the completed documented as instructed. If you have questions on the application, please contact the Division of Veteran Affairs at 303-284-6077. You can also contact your local veterans' office.
