AR Age 65 or Disabled Homeowner Property Tax Relief
How can this program help me?
This program can reduce the amount of property tax you pay if you are a qualifying older adult or person with a disability. It puts a “freeze” on the assessed (estimated) value of the home you own and live in. The assessed value is the dollar amount used to decide how much you will have to pay in property taxes. There are some exceptions, such as if you make major improvements to the home that increase the value.
How do I get help?
For information on how to apply, please contact your tax assessor's office.
