The state offers a free Discount Drug Card that can help lower the cost of your prescribed medications. You can present the card at one of the over 60,000 pharmacies in the state that accept the card. The amount of your discount will depend on certain circumstances, including the type of medication, supply needed, and whether you use a brand name product or generic version. Separately, aside from offering discounts on prescribed medications, you may be able to use the card to obtain reduced prices on diabetic supplies such as test strips, syringes and glucose monitors.

How do I apply?

To get help now, apply online or call the program. You may have to pay $1.50 to get a permanent card.
