SingleCare is a free service that helps you pay less for the prescription medicines you need to stay healthy. It works kind of like a coupon or discount card. You can use SingleCare at many drugstores to lower the price you pay for your prescriptions.
The SingleCare program includes more than 10,000 brand-name and generic drugs. You may be able to save up to 80% on a medication’s cost.
How does SingleCare work?
To save money, you must get your medicine from a participating pharmacy. More than 35,000 pharmacies across the U.S. participate in SingleCare.
Follow these steps to get discounts on your prescriptions:
- Look up your medicine: Visit the SingleCare website or download the SingleCare app. In the search bar, type in the name of your medicine. Make sure the dose and amount match your prescription. This helps you see the right price.
- Pick a coupon: Choose the coupon with the lowest price. Save it on your phone or print it out at home. Keep in mind that prices can be different at each pharmacy.
- Show the coupon at the pharmacy: When you pick up your medicine, tell the pharmacist you have a SingleCare coupon. Show the coupon before you pay. The pharmacist will enter the information and apply the savings.
You can also sign up to become a SingleCare member. This may allow you to get extra benefits. But this step is optional.
Can I get help from SingleCare?
Anyone can use the SingleCare card to help pay for prescriptions. You do not need to apply, register, or meet any program rules to get help.
Can I use SingleCare if I have Medicare?
Yes. You can still use SingleCare even if you have Medicare. SingleCare is not insurance. It is a discount.
If you have Medicare and the SingleCare price is lower than your copay, you can use SingleCare instead. But you cannot use both at the same time. You must choose either Medicare or SingleCare for each prescription. Many people compare prices and choose the option that costs less.
