This program provides you several choices when deciding on the best home healthcare to meet your personal needs. Options may include:

  • Home Health Services: You will get a professional nurse who will assist you with your daily living and some medical needs.
  • Personal Assistance Services: This includes services such as bathing, dressing and grooming.
  • Home Support Activities: You will get help with chores, such as laundry, shopping and running errands.
  • Overnight Shelter or Supervision: This is best to meet short-term needs, or to provide respite to your caregivers.
  • Counseling Services: You can get access to a certified counselor.
  • Domiciliary Care: You will stay at an overnight facility that will provide meal preparation, personal care and chore services such as laundry and cleaning. Your local Area Agency on Aging will conduct a personal assessment and place you in a facility that best meets your needs.

Please note: Depending on where you live, you may be placed on a waiting list before you can get services from this program. You may need to pay a fee for the services. The amount you pay will depend on your income.
