Share

This program gives you health care and support services so that you can stay in your own home and live independently. You will manage your own care and will receive funds to hire personal care attendants (PCAs) who can help you with some of the following household services:

  • laundry
  • shopping
  • housekeeping
  • meal preparation
  • transportation

You will act as the employer of the PCA and are fully responsible for recruiting, hiring, scheduling, training, and, if necessary, firing PCAs. You can hire more than one PCA. You should contact your local office for more detail on the process of employing a PCA.

How do I apply?

To find out how to get the service, please contact your local office.
