This program helps you find services if you are deaf or hard of hearing. It also helps places like courts, businesses and hospitals find people who use sign language so they can communicate with you. Other services can include:

  • Help finding people who know sign language
  • information and recommendations to find outside help
  • Awareness training and workshops
  • A lending library
  • Car signs that tell first responders you have hearing loss  

How do I get help?

To get help, please contact the Kansas Commission on the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. Visit their website, or call 785-368-3034. If you use a videophone with a camera and a screen, you can call 785-246-5077.
