This state program provides an additional cash benefit beyond what the federal government gives you through the Supplemental Security Income (SSI). The amount of the supplemental income you get will depend on any other sources of income you may receive and your living arrangements.

Please note: If you enroll in both Medicare and SSI, you will be signed up for the Extra Help program through Medicare Prescription Drug Coverage. This program helps people with limited income and resources pay for their medicines.
