Adult Family Care
Adult Family Care can provide a family-like living environment if you have certain special needs and are unable to live on your own. Some private homes are certified as Adult Family Care Homes. Adult Family Care providers must meet certain standards. Adult Services helps with finding an appropriate home, the placement process, and financial support if necessary. This type of help may be an option if you need a supportive living situation but can’t provide it for yourself.
How do I apply?
To apply for services from the Adult Family Care program, contact your local Department of Health and Human Resources office.
