This program can provide you with health care services on a sliding fee scale. You can take part in this program if you have limited income and have been a resident of Lucas County for at least 6 months.

To get help from CareNet, you cannot have any other health care coverage, such as Medicare, Medicaid, veteran’s benefits, or employee coverage. The fee you will pay depends on the amount of income you have.

You can get primary care services at many locations sponsored by the Neighborhood Health Association, the Toledo-Lucas County Health Department, Mercy Health Partners, and the ProMedica Health System.

You can get specialized care through hospital clinics and volunteer physicians. In addition, you can get transportation to your medical visits free of charge by the local bus service.
