Adult Day Services helps you continue living at home instead of moving to a nursing home by giving you assistance and services. Services are provided at local adult day centers. During the day, you can take part in social activities, have your health monitored, and learn how to take better care of yourself. You can also get help with your daily personal care, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Adult day centers can give you free meals and provide you with transportation services to get you to and from the center.

This program provides you with at least one hot meal per day, five or more days a week. The meals are usually provided in locations such as senior centers, schools, or churches. You can take part in this program if you are 60 or older. You can also get help from this program if you are disabled and you live with older adults.
