This program provides you with services to help you continue living at home and remain active in your community. If you have a disability that makes it hard for you live on your own, this program connects you with community-based support and services. Services may include:
- Counseling
- Mobility training
- Personal care attendants
- Physical rehabilitation
- Prostheses and other devices
- Interpreters and reader services
- Individual and group social and recreational activities
The Independent Living program also provides education to your community to explain how you and others cope with disabilities.
