This program provides assistance to you if you are deaf or hard of hearing. Services can include:

  • Information on events and classes
  • Resources for working with an interpreter or other aids
  • Referrals to other services
  • Advocacy or support

If you drive, you can get a Visor Communication Card to put in your car in case you are in an accident or pulled over for a traffic stop. You can show the card to the police officer, so the officer will know you have hearing loss that interferes with your ability to hear instructions and answer questions.

How do I get this program?

To get these services, please contact the Delaware Office for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
