Healthy San Francisco offers affordable health care for San Francisco residents. The program is for people without health insurance, but it is not health insurance. The program provides medical services that can include:
- hospital care
- prescription drug assistance
- mental health care
- medical transportation
- substance abuse rehabilitation
- family planning services
- routine medical visits
Healthcare services are offered through a limited network of local medical clinics and hospitals that participate in the program. Medical care outside of the city or at a hospital that is not a part of the program will not be covered.
