This program provides you with services that will help you to live independently. Services include:

  • Employment skills training and evaluation
  • Orientation and mobility help
  • Ways to manage daily living
  • Physical conditioning
  • Home management
  • Medical management
  • Recreation and leisure skills
  • Meal preparation
  • Braille literacy
  • Electronic visual aids

Most services are free. If you are 55 or older, you can take part in a special program that provides you with mobility training, adaptive equipment, and support groups to help you manage low vision.
