How can this program help me?

This program can help you if you are a caregiver who needs support and respite (a break) from daily  caregiving. It provides support services such as:

  • Companion care: Hire someone to stay with the person you are caring for.
  • Homemakers and home health aides: Get help with light housekeeping duties such as laundry, shopping, and running errands.
  • Adult day health services: The person you are caring for can go to a center to participate in social activities and get health care services.
  • Private-duty nursing services: Get help with basic, health-related tasks such as giving medications to the person you care for.
