Boulder County Respite & Companion Volunteer Program
How can this program help me?
The Respite & Companion Volunteer Program trains respite care volunteers and matches them with older adults (age 60 and older) in communities throughout the county. Respite care volunteers provide friendship for older adults who have a chronic illness, memory impairment, or a disability.
The program is designed to give family caregivers a needed break. Volunteers do not provide medical assistance or personal care, but may assist with shopping, social outings, exercise, errands, and other activities.
How do I volunteer?
You can volunteer by calling the Boulder County Aging Services at 303-678-6286.
