Provides rides for only the following purposes: medical appointments, or grocery shopping. Also, you must meet at least one of these criteria: you are 60+ years old. No membership is required.

The Volunteer Senior Transportation program offers older adults a convenient and reliable way to access non-emergency medical transportation via taxi services. This public transit program allows riders to schedule rides in advance, typically requiring at least a day's notice, to ensure timely pick-ups. The program accepts various forms of payment, including insurance, vouchers, donations, and credit cards, making it accessible to a wide range of individuals. Additionally, there is an option for membership or flat fees, catering to different transportation needs and preferences. Not only does the program provide private rides in cars, but it also offers paratransit services, assisting riders with packages or bags as needed. Riders can expect door-to-door or curb-to-curb transportation, accommodating those with service animals. With the flexibility of on-demand scheduling and shared rides, older adults have the freedom to travel conveniently within their community. Whether it's a short trip to a medical appointment or a weekly grocery run, this program ensures that older adults can maintain their independence and access the transportation they need.
