Provides rides for only the following purposes: necessary errands, medical appointments, or grocery shopping. Also, you must meet at least one of these criteria: you are 60+ years old. No membership is required.
The Dignified Senior Transportation program offers older adults access to transportation services through the use of cars and vans. Designed to support independent living and mobility, this program relies on donations to provide cost-free rides, with contributions encouraged but not mandatory. Riders can receive assistance with carrying packages or bags, ensuring a comfortable and convenient experience. To utilize this service, older adults are required to schedule their rides in advance, typically a few days beforehand, allowing for efficient planning and coordination. This initiative, known for its commitment to preserving the dignity and autonomy of older adults, is a valuable resource for those in need of reliable transportation options.
