Provides rides for only the following purposes: necessary errands, medical appointments, or grocery shopping. Also, you must meet at least one of these criteria: you have a disability. No membership is required.

Paratransit Services is a specialized transportation program designed to cater to the needs of individuals who require additional assistance with their travels. Unlike traditional public transportation services, Paratransit Services offer door-to-door transportation, making it easier for older adults to get to their desired destinations. Users of this program can schedule rides a few days in advance, ensuring they have reliable transportation when needed. One of the key features of Paratransit Services is the provision of shared rides, allowing multiple individuals to share the same vehicle while being taken to different destinations. This not only promotes a sense of community among users but also helps reduce costs and environmental impact by minimizing the number of vehicles on the road. The program utilizes specially equipped vans to ensure a comfortable and safe journey for all passengers. A notable aspect of Paratransit Services is that it is offered free of charge, eliminating financial barriers for older adults who may require frequent or regular transportation assistance. Additionally, drivers participating in this program are not permitted to accept tips or gratuities, further emphasizing a focus on providing inclusive and accessible transportation options for older adults. When utilizing Paratransit Services, individuals are encouraged to plan and schedule their rides in advance through the Rides In Advance system, allowing for a smoother and more efficient transportation experience.
