STRIDE Paratransit is a specialized transportation program designed to support older adults and individuals with mobility challenges. This service offers convenient and reliable transportation to help individuals travel within the community. The fare for utilizing STRIDE is $1.50 during off-peak hours and $3.00 during peak hours, with peak hours being from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on weekdays. As a paratransit program, STRIDE accommodates riders with packages or bags, making it easier for older adults to carry belongings while traveling. To use this service, individuals are required to schedule rides in advance, typically a few days before the intended travel date. This advanced scheduling ensures that transportation needs are met efficiently. STRIDE Paratransit provides curb-to-curb transportation, ensuring that passengers are safely assisted from the pick-up point to their destination. Overall, STRIDE offers a valuable transportation solution for older adults and individuals with limited mobility, enhancing their ability to access essential services and maintain independence within the community.

Operates within 3/4 of a mile from the DTA’s regular routes in the City of Superior, Proctor, Hermantown, and Rice Lake and within the city boundaries of Duluth.
