Provides rides for any purpose, to all people, and no membership is required.

The Public Transportation program provides older adults with reliable non-emergency medical transportation services through various means such as taxis, cars, buses, trains, and vans. This program offers flexibility by allowing on-demand scheduling for private or shared rides, with drivers who can wait for passengers during errands or appointments. Riders can schedule transportation in advance, ranging from a day to a week, and have options for door-to-door or curb-to-curb service along fixed routes. For payment, riders can utilize insurance, vouchers, donations, pre-payment, checks, credit cards, cash, or Medicaid payments. The program sets a standard fare of $1.50 per one-way trip, with a reduced rate of $0.75 for seniors and individuals with disabilities. Additionally, riders can enjoy the convenience of paying a membership fee, flat fee, or mileage-based pricing. This inclusive program allows riders to bring service animals on board and ensures the safe handling of packages or bags during the journey.
