Provides rides for only the following purposes: medical appointments. Also, you must meet at least one of these criteria: you are a veteran. No membership is required.

The Veterans Transportation program offers non-emergency medical transportation services to older adults through a public transit system utilizing taxis and cars. Riders can schedule rides in advance, sometimes requiring a day's notice or even a few days up to a week ahead, for convenient planning. This paratransit program allows for door-to-door transportation, ensuring older adults can easily get to their medical appointments or run errands with the help of courteous drivers who can wait during the appointments. Payment options are versatile, ranging from insurance coverage, Medicaid payments, credit cards, checks, cash, vouchers, and donations. The program may charge a flat fee, hourly rate, or per mile, while some older adults may be eligible for free services. Additionally, shared rides are provided for those who prefer a more communal transportation experience, and the program welcomes service animals to accompany riders throughout their journeys. With an emphasis on flexibility and accessibility, the Veterans Transportation program strives to meet the diverse transportation needs of older adults in a reliable and comfortable manner.
