Provides rides for only the following purposes: medical appointments. Also, you must meet at least one of these criteria: you are 60+ years old. No membership is required.

The Volunteer Medical Escort Program is designed to provide older adults with non-emergency medical transportation services. Operating as a public transit program, this initiative is centered on ensuring that older adults have access to transportation for their medical needs. Through this program, individuals have the option to schedule rides in advance, either a day or a few days prior, to secure transportation via taxi or car. To support the program's operational costs, there is a donation request per mile driven, calculated from the volunteer's home for a round trip. Members of this program also have the flexibility of using insurance, vouchers, coupons, or making donations to cover the transportation costs. Additionally, payment options include Medicaid, pre-payment, check, credit card, or cash to cater to different preferences. The program offers door-to-door transportation services, accommodating riders with service animals and assisting with packages or bags as needed. Furthermore, riders can benefit from the convenience of on-demand scheduling and shared rides, enhancing their overall transportation experience.
