Provides rides for only the following purposes: necessary errands, or medical appointments. Also, you must meet at least one of these criteria: you are 60+ years old, or you have a disability. No membership is required.

The Transportation Program offers convenient and affordable transportation services for older adults who may need assistance getting to appointments, running errands, or attending social activities. Riders can benefit from the program's flat fee structure, which includes a $5.00 co-pay per one-way trip. For longer trips exceeding 100 miles, there is a modest $10 surcharge to ensure coverage of additional distance. This flexible payment system allows for easy transactions, as riders can pay either by check or in cash, making it accessible for all participants. To utilize the program, riders must schedule their trips in advance, typically a few days beforehand, to secure their desired transportation arrangements. The program operates with a fleet of cars and vans to accommodate varying needs, ensuring that older adults can travel comfortably and conveniently. Additionally, the program offers curb-to-curb transportation, prioritizing the safety and convenience of riders from the moment they step outside their homes until they reach their final destination. With its donation-based model and commitment to providing essential transportation services, the Transportation Program is a valuable resource for older adults looking to maintain their independence and stay connected to their communities.
