The Transportation Assistance Program offers convenient and affordable transportation options for older adults in our community. This program includes a variety of transportation modes such as car services, buses, trains, and vans to ensure that older adults can easily get to their appointments, run errands, or attend social activities. One of the key features of this program is its flexible pricing structure. Older adults who qualify for the program only need to pay a co-payment based on their income, while the remaining costs are covered by county or state subsidies. This system ensures that transportation remains accessible to older adults from all walks of life. To use this program, older adults need to schedule their rides in advance, allowing for proper planning and coordination. Payment options are also convenient, including checks and cash to accommodate different preferences. With curb-to-curb transportation services available, older adults can enjoy reliable and safe rides to their destinations, providing them with independence and peace of mind.
