Provides rides for any purpose, as long as you meet one of the following criteria: you are 65+ years old, you have a disability, or you have no other means of transportation.

Beyond the Borders On-Demand Transportation is a valuable service designed to cater to the transportation needs of older adults. This program offers paratransit services that are available free of charge, with the option for riders to provide donations to support the program. To utilize this service, older adults are required to schedule their rides in advance, typically a few days ahead of time. The program facilitates shared rides along fixed routes, ensuring efficient and cost-effective transportation options for older adults in the community. When booking a ride through Beyond the Borders On-Demand Transportation, riders can benefit from the convenience of the Rides In Advance feature, allowing them to plan their journeys ahead of time. This program ensures curb-to-curb transportation, providing older adults with a safe and reliable way to travel to their desired destinations. By offering accessible and supportive transportation services, Beyond the Borders On-Demand Transportation aims to enhance the mobility and independence of older adults, enabling them to participate fully in their communities.


Service Area

Routes available throughout Bonney Lake, Buckley, Burnett, Carbonado, Cascade Junction, Eatonville, Elk Plain, Frederickson, Graham, Kapowsin, McKenna, Prairie Ridge, Roy, South Prairie, Spanaway, Sumner and Wilkeson. The Connector routes run on a 45-minute schedule Monday through Friday in two areas: Sumner, with connections to Pierce Transit and Sound Transit; and Spanaway/South Hill, with connections to Pierce Transit at the Spanaway Walmart and the South Hill Fred Meyer.
