Provides rides for only the following purposes: social or recreational purposes. Also, you must meet at least one of these criteria: you have a disability, or you have no other means of transportation. No membership is required.
The Community Center Shuttle program offers affordable transportation options for older adults in the community. Riders have the convenience of accessing van rides for just $1.00 each way or purchasing a $20.00 bus pass for multiple trips. To utilize this service, passengers need to schedule their rides a few days in advance, ensuring that their transportation needs are met smoothly. Payments for the rides can be made via check or cash, allowing for flexibility in terms of financial transactions.
One of the key features of the program is its provision of shared rides, promoting a sense of community and social interaction among older adults utilizing the service. Operating with vans, the Community Center Shuttle program offers curb-to-curb transportation, prioritizing the safety and comfort of its passengers. Transportation is provided to and from the Community Center from Maple Valley, Black Diamond, Covington, Hobart, Kanaskat-Palmer, Lake Morton, Lake Sawyer, and Ravensdale.
