Public Transportation is a convenient public transit program available to older adults in the community. For a fee of $2 per ride or $50 per month for regular fare, older adults can access transportation services via bus or train to help them get to their desired destinations. For those eligible for reduced fare, the cost is even more affordable at $1 per ride or $25 per month. Participants in this program have the flexibility to pay for their rides by check or in cash, and they also have the option to pre-pay for their transportation needs. The program operates on fixed routes and schedules, providing older adults with a reliable means of transportation to attend appointments, run errands, or visit friends and family. By utilizing Public Transportation, older adults can maintain their independence and stay connected to their community in a cost-effective and efficient way.
