Public Transportation is a cost-free program available to older adults that offers transportation services via buses or trains along fixed routes. This program allows for shared rides with other passengers and operates on a scheduled basis, ensuring reliable transportation for its users. Participants can request transportation on a curb-to-curb basis, where vehicles pick them up and drop them off at specific locations along the route. Additionally, individuals utilizing this program have the option to bring their service animals on board with them. Donations are accepted to support the continuation and improvement of services provided by Public Transportation.
