Learn More About This Program

Through the Statewide Health Insurance Benefits Advisors (SHIBA) program you can volunteer to help people with Medicare understand their benefits and other health insurance. You can help people by phone, in person, and through group presentations. As a volunteer, you will offer information about Medicare, supplemental insurance, prescription drug coverage, and public benefits such as Medicaid and Medicare Savings Programs.
